The co-producers/co-directors of “And Then Came Lola,” Ellen Seidler and Megan Siler, are very pleased that Facebook reversed its discriminatory decision. Hopefully this incident will serve as a reminder that fairness and objectivity should be applied equally when it comes to judging advertising content.
Fast Girl Films would also like to thank of all those who joined us in protesting Facebook’s rejection of the Lola advertisement. Small (and large) victories are important in the fight for equal rights and recognition the LGBT community in all its diversity. Thank you!
