Cathy was recently recognized by LOGO/ Afterellen.com’s Visibility Awards as runner up – for the Best Lesbian/Bi Character in a Festival Released Feature of 2007 for her role in the comedy “Out at the Wedding.” In addition to her role in “And Then Came Lola”, Cathy will be seen on the 2009 festival circuit in episode 1 of a film noir trilogy, Tremble & Spark” where she plays the lead role of Detective Charlie Forrest. A graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts, NYC, Cathy is no stranger to the stage and has a myriad of experience on the television screen as well. She has guest starred on such shows as LOGO’s EX’s & Oh’s, The Pretender and Pacific Blue, has held recurring roles on Chicago Hope and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and has co-starred on Martial Law, Jenny and Becker with Ted Danson. No stranger to the web either, Cathy has guest starred on the hit web series 3Way. With a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Cathy created, produces and stars in her popular video blog, What’s YOUR Problem?. Nominated in LOGO’s 2007 NEW, NOW NEXT AWARDS, for BEST. LESBIAN.
